Frequently Asked Questions
What is VocalDynamix?

Do I need to be able to sing to attend?
No. VocalDynamix workshops appeal both to professionals and to those on a journey of self-discovery. There is no pressure to perform; sounds are made as a group, and participants are never asked to demonstrate something if they would not be willing.
What should I wear to a workshop?
VocalDynamix is a Feldenkrais workshop and takes place mostly on the floor. Wear loose, comfortable clothing, and you may also need to bring something to lie on. See the syllabus for more detail.
Is VocalDynamix suitable for professional performers?
Yes. The course is intended to cover all the ground necessary for a full understanding of vocal performance, and is ideal for professionals who want to understand and own their skills, as well as for beginners who are shy of performing.
What is the Feldenkrais Method?
The Feldenkrais Method uses movement with awareness to improve mobility, posture, breathing and co-ordination. It is the foundation of the VocalDynamix approach. Discover the Feldenkrais Method.
